Wild About Jackets

Ana- Viejas, a jacket can transform an outfit. If you wear a jacket on top of a dress it transforms it into a suit. If you wear a jacket with jeans it can elevate your look. I sometimes wear jackets as a top; specially form fitting ones. I have structured jackets, cropped jackets, and flowy jackets. I also LOVE dusters even though I do not think dusters are officially jackets. I recently learned that the original dusters were worn by horsemen to protect their clothing from trail dust. Dusters make me feel powerful. I have two: A black one that makes me feel like a character from the movie Matrix and a beige one which I recently had tailored for a better fit.

Corina- I love all types of jackets. As you already know-if you have read our blogs- I am obsessed with all sorts and shades of denim jackets. Jackets can provide the "extra" to an incomplete or dull outfit as well as it can be the finishing touch to my ensemble before I walk out the door. Viejas, there is no such thing as having too many jackets, but if I ought to pick my MUST haves they would be: A blazer, a military inspired jacket, a motorcycle style jacket, an oversize wear on top of anything jacket, and the ever-classic jean jacket.
