We Can all Rock the "Beanie"
Corina- I am not big on winter hats but do remember the first time I wore a beanie. I was a teenager, and I was in Vermont with my family during Christmas vacation. My parents signed us up for skiing lessons and as you can guess I had a beanie with a big pom-pom that matched my "down the slope" outfit perfectly. I wore that beanie in the 70s and I am wearing one in 2022! Although beanies have been around for 100 years, they have become a fashion statement in recent years for all ages and genders any time of year. All faces and head shapes can look good with a beanie because of the many ways to wear them. The key is to try different styles worn in diverse ways until you find one that suits you. I wear mine half-way over my forehead and let my hair hang down from the sides. I prefer a loose fit beanie and viejas, who can resist one with a faux-fur pom-pom or one with our logo!
Ana- Viejas, I have always admired the beanie in other people and always wanted to wear one. When you wear your hair really short; like I do, the hat becomes the hair and you could look like an alien. Like Corina suggests, I had to experiment because I also have a small face. When I wear a beanie, I like to frame my face by pulling bits of my hair out from the sides and back, combining the beanie with a hoodie, or complementing with jewelry . I accentuate my lips, style my eyebrows, and blend the beanie with the rest of my outfit for a unique look. I like that I get to incorporate beanies as part of my style. I LOVE our viejaswithstyle edition beanie!
How do we get a beanie with the logo?????
