'Viejas' On Their Wedding Day

A few days ago my dad sent Corina and I a picture of his and my mother's wedding. I immediately called Corina up. I asked her for her wedding picture since I could not help but think about how we had styled ourselves on that day. She told me that she had not kept any. Luckily, my dad had portraits at his home of all of us on our wedding day. Our gramma, Corina, our mom, and I wore 4 very different styles for our wedding. The decade in which we got married had something to do with it, but these photos reflect how each one of us have always had our own unique style. The 1920's ankle length lace Spanish dress, the 1950's romantic long, embellish grown and vail, the 1980's power suit and hat, and the 1990's bolero jacket and pants. We might have not been "viejas"in age when these pictures were taken, but we were definitely ViejaswithStyle.
Ana- P.S. I bumped into invitadatrendy yesterday- a wedding & lifestyle Instagram- and their post from 3 days ago about unique brides in pants (novias en pantalón). To think 3 days ago this style was labeled as unique as it were more than 30 years ago; when I wore it for my wedding. Viejas, can you also see the decade's influence in each style?.

Is that Corina in the hat?
