The "Shacket" has Always Been a Thing
Corina- I love layering, so having a "shirt jacket" or a men-like oversized shirt to layer up is a must. It is a great piece to complement any outfit especially when the weather starts to change in the spring or fall. How do I wear mine? I, of course wear a couple of denim ones which I often layer on top of t-shirts or on top of each other over joggers or drawstring pants; for a casual look. I also wear a "vegan leather" one layered on top of a button-down shirt or a high-neck top over slacks or a skirt for the office.
Vieja, if you don't have a "shacket", 2022 is a great time to join in on this trend!
Ana- I hate layering. I only learn about it when I moved to the U.S. and everyone would ask me to layer so I would be able to manage the temperature swings typical of the cross over days between seasons. If you ask my husband, he will say "the shacket has always been a thing". Now that I think about it the shacket has been his go to outfit for a long time! Maybe he should have been the one appearing in the post with Corina. My only shacket is the one I wear for this post. Will I wear shackets from now on? Viejas, I will NOT! I will continue to enjoy seeing it on Corina and on my husband. Vieja, do you own a shacket? Are shackets your thing?
