The "Go To" Outfit
Ana- British actress Elizabeth Hurley exemplifies what it means to have a "go to" outfit. A dress that is body conscious, V-neck, with a slit. Just google "Elizabeth Hurley go to outfits" and you will see what I mean.
Sometimes, we just gravitate towards what makes us feel most comfortable and fierce. That can be a color, or a style of clothing.
For me, that piece of clothing is the column, scoop-neck dress; sleeveless for the summer and a version with long sleeves for the colder months.
To make the most variations of the same silhouette, I buy them in different prints. I usually also buy them in textiles that can travel well. This is usually a blend with some percentage of spandex in it.
This dress style makes me feel confortable and classy day and night.
Corina – When I think about my “go-to” outfit the first thing that comes to mind is the monochromatic look, specifically an all-black or a black and white combination. When in doubt I always choose a pair of black pants with a white or off-white top, which often is some variation of the same shirt. I also tend to gravitate towards simple all black dresses although not always in the same style. I love these neutrals because they are always in style, they are classy, and they are appropriate for day, night, work and play. I “spruce-up” my neutrals with colorful accessories.
