Spring 2024 Trends - Will These Viejas Wear it?

This month when reading about spring and summer trends we came across a post titled These are the Spring Trends You’re About to See (and Wear) Everywhere.

Which 2024 trends will each of these two viejas be wearing?

Ana - When I first read the 2024 spring fashion article, I thought I was going to be in trouble. High Fashion Fringes? Those surely look cool. Peep-toe sandals? I have dancer toes; there is no way! It turns out I have a fringe scarf Corina gave me a long time ago. With a little inspiration from this article, I tied the scarf around my waist for a Laid Back Fringe over pants look. I have one pair of sandals with a modest enough peep-toe to hide my imperfect toes. I am also in love with the rich burgundy color, graphic stripes, and statement belts. All trending this year.  Yet, Viejas I NOT be wearing girl-core's roses and ballet flats, disco inferno gold, or athletic prep style clothes; no matter how trendy this article insists they are.

 Corina – When I read the post, I was excited about the fact that it listed fourteen different fashion trends. There are plenty of styles to choose from for the spring and summer seasons. There is no question that I will continue to wear animal print pieces and accessories. Another definite for me are stripes, especially when it comes to button down shirts. I will NOT be wearing sheer layering or see-through clothing, girl core roses or ruffles; however, I will have to say yes to ballet flats. High fashion fringe is also a big NO for me.  

Viejas, always wear what looks good on you and makes you comfortable! Never wear something just because it is trendy.
