Reading In Style

Corina - Reading glasses are a must for many viejas whether they are prescription lenses or over the counter readers. I bought my first pair in my late 40s and have been wearing readers since then.

Now, I wear mostly prescription glasses because I need corrective lenses for different eye issues. I think of glasses as yet another opportunity to accessorize and show my style. I like medium-sized, plastic colored frames that cover my eyes but not my face. I also go for styles that complement my clothes and make me feel "smart". I own three pairs now. I paid serious money for one of them- as they are computer reading glasses. I happen to spend long hours in front of the computer for my job. The other two...well you know why I have three pairs; Viejas. You never know which one will be the pair closest to you.

The thing is all three of my reading glasses are really fun and I now wear them intentionally to complement my outfits. If you look at my pictures today you will see I use the tint or color of the plastic in my glasses to complement my style.
