One Last Time in 2023!

As is now a tradition, we got together in December and went shopping. Instead of hunting at the mall we made NYC our mall. We went from bazaars in Chelsea, Bryant Park and Union Square to the run streets of Soho. Did we need more clothes? Shoes? Of course not. We just find the experience of browsing, even bargaining, trying and taking something new home thrilling.  

Corina - I made one purchase I could not resist; another pair of Adidas. Once I tried them on there was no question that they would be moving to Virginia. It turns out this pair of shoes has the Adidas label and an S.F.T.M. label. These shoes are a collaboration with the Australian label A Song for the Mute (S.F.T.M.) Their tagline “providing a voice to the voiceless” is as soulful as the shoes themselves.  

Ana – as I passed by a store front something caught my eye. Corina and I walked in, and she said: “Yes, that is nice; but look at that other one”. Well, I walked out with my last purchase of 2023. What is it? Look: it is a belt, a corset, and it is rad!
