New Piece, New Closet
Updated: Dec 11, 2022
If you ever had to manage teams at work, you might have heard the saying: "New member, new team". This phrase describes the fact that whenever a new member joins a team the configuration of the team changes . The other day I (Ana) was looking for something to wear to go for a walk. Suddenly I went: "Ohhhhhh, this T shirt I bought a year ago in Virginia- I was there visiting and I ran out of clothes- can totally go with this sweater I bought in Oregon 6 years ago when I was there freezing and unprepared". I also realized when I put them together that they were the same brand so the colors were pretty much identical.

Like teams at work, wardrobes get reconfigured as you add pieces to it. One piece can turn into many outfits. Remember; look through your closet once in a while, you may discover a new outfit!

I (Corina) am always excited to bring "new finds" home. I immediately think about the pieces I already have that can be "new"again when paired with what I just bought. I love to browse through stores and boutiques in search of nothing in particular, but with a watchful eye so not to miss that unique piece that I never knew I needed. Not every browsing trip results in a "find"; but when it does, I can't wait to get home and shop my closet for new outfits
