Just One Color: Easy Right?
Corina- Dressing in just one color is on trend right now. Even though it can help an outfit look polish and sophisticated it is also easy to go overboard or choose the “wrong” color. Wearing the same color head-to-toe is not something I do often unless we are talking about black. Some people can pull orange or yellow from head-to-toe and look fabulous. Personally, I would feel like a gigantic pumpkin or squash. When I do choose tonal or monochromatic outfits, I focus on choosing neutral colors such as blue, brown, or gray and mixing different shades of that color. I like to keep the look muted but add a little pattern such as stripes and polka dots, some texture, or a subtle contrast such as a white shirt. One of the easiest ways to conquer the monochromatic look is wearing a solid color dress with a statement necklace or a great pair of shoes.

Begin with the basics. In my case, I found two pairs of yoga pants; one in green and one in brown. From there, it was easy to build the outfit out with a top, layers, bags, and statement jewelry pieces.
One thing to remember is never wear a single color you do not look good in, no matter if it is trending. If pink is not your color, do not wear it head to toe.
