High and Low
Is there a switch after your fifties that turns us on to flats and off to heels?
I (Ana) am not on heels everyday like I used to; but I like buying my trousers long, so I still wear heels. The difference? The style of heel. I now go for a wider heel for better ankle support, balance, and comfort. Like Corina, I save my stilettos for very special occasions.
As for me (Corina) heels are not part of my daily go to anymore. After decades of wearing five inch heels and ridiculously high platforms; I have call it quits. My heel switch is OFF! but please no "comfort" shoes, at least not yet! Lucky for me, there are so many choices when it comes to flats and so many fun, sharp looking sneakers that making the transition has not been as difficult as I once thought it would be. I wear sneakers with anything and everything and look for colorful, unusual and fun looking flats to pair with office wear. Now, I save my heels (and not too high) for special occasions.
I'm just waiting to see Corina in a pair of beautiful flip flops❤️😉
