Fashion Building Blocks- Our Top Five

Those of us who have lived through a few fashion trend "come backs"; have recycled multiple styles. We know that there are certain clothing items that have persisted and belong in every Viejas' closet. These items are fashion's building blocks. Here are our top five:

1. Denim in any form or shade. This building block morphs with each fashion trend and make us feel playful and now.

2. The button-down white shirt in a variety of fabrics, lengths and shades of white. A white tee or variation; also fits this category.

3. The pencil skirt in different colors for work, date night or any occasion.

4. A trench coat for the in between seasons in any length or color.
