Dress It Up - Dress It Down

Ana- I love the bell bottoms I bought last October (read our post Rocking the new 70's vieja style for details of this buy). I want to wear them a lot before they go out of style yet again. I cannot afford to wait another decade.

I thought they were too much of a statement for the office.

Then, I wore them with "the shacket" (the only shirt-jacket I own) and created a pant suit. Viejas, take a look at the groovy pant suit!

Corina- I like to buy clothes that I can wear many times by combining them -in multiple ways- with pieces I already own. I also like items that I can dress up for the office and down for a casual look. It is also important for me to buy clothing that I can wear from one season into the next as well as for a long period of time. There are items I use to create a casual look such as sneakers, t-shirts and denim jackets. Some of the items I use for dressing-up are heels, blazers and a statement necklace.
