Belts, Belts, Belts

Corina - There is always some type of belt in style regardless of the era. Who can forget the chain belts of the 70's, the elastic ones of the 80's, the studded belts of the 90's and the rhinestone buckles of the year 2000. Without argument belts are magnificent accessories. When it comes to wearing a belt, some women (like my sister) can throw it on, let it hit any part of their body and go out the door looking fabulous. Others, such as myself stand in front of the mirror wondering if I can wear any type of belt without looking shorter and wider. Viejas, the answer is YES! I have learned that the most flattering belts for a pear-shaped body are slim or medium width ones that rest on or just above my natural waist. They accentuate my curves in a good way as long as the belt is not too tight. Ana- Corina cannot be more on point. Belts for me are an essential accessory. Even though I could wear them anywhere on my body. I like wearing belts to accentuate my hips. It makes me look instantly more shapely as I have a rectangular body shape. Chain belts and belts that mix metal and leather are my favorites.
